Basketball BC would like to extend an invitation to you for an upcoming meeting that holds impact for basketball clubs in our province.

Meeting Objective: Addressing Basketball Clubs' Needs from Basketball BC – follow up from September 9, 2023, meeting.

Meeting Details:
Date & Time: November 19, 2023, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: Zoom (link will be sent to individuals who RSVP)

As valued supporters of our basketball community, your insights, experiences, and needs are at the heart of our shared journey. We understand that a strong collaboration between basketball clubs and Basketball BC is essential for the growth and success of the sport.

This meeting is the next step towards actionable solutions that will positively impact your club and the basketball community. We encourage you to come prepared to share your insights and to engage in an open and respectful exchange of ideas on the topics you shared as being important to you.

Canada Basketball – They will discuss how they support the basketball ecosystem.
Coaching - More structured coaching support from Basketball BC, SuperCamps, a BC coaching certification course/program, etc.
Clarity - Benefits of joining Basketball BC as a member club, what our insurance policy covers, coaching expectations for provincial teams.
Club Committee – Consideration of creating an ad hoc consultative body with non-board members to collaborate with the Board Committee.
Communication - Clear communication to the right people at clubs, so that they have awareness of upcoming events and other relevant information on a consistent basis.
Calendar - Shared calendar between member clubs that shows tournaments, league games, coaching clinics, Basketball BC programming, etc.
Community - All the above should contribute to building and enforcing the basketball community in BC, inclusive of clubs.
