BASKETBALL BC COVID-19 UPDATE

March 26, 2020

Following BC Public Health ORDERS AND GUIDELINES that include maximum number of people in a group setting and maintaining minimum of 2m physical distance:

All Basketball BC sanctioned activities are SUSPENDED until FURTHER NOTICE meaning no insurance coverage for any such activities.  The allocation of officials for basketball events is also SUSPENDED and BCBOA officials will not be allocated to any event.

In addition, Basketball BC has cancelled the following:

• BC Summer Games team selection camps as the 2020 BC Summer Games have been cancelled – FULL MEDIA RELEASE from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, & Culture
• U14 Jr. NBA Provincial Qualifier and U14 Club Championships – May 2-3
• U13 Club Championships – May 29-31
• U15-U17 Club Championships – June 5-7
• Provincial Team Program
  • ​U15 Boys ID Camps
  • U15 & U17 Supercamps
• ​Youth Development Camps (YDC) - July/August
