The Canucks for Kids Fund (CFKF), and the Directors of the CFKF are pleased to support BC Amateur Sport Fund supporting Basketball BC’s Athlete Performance Support Fund.
The CKFF dedicates resources to assist charities which support children’s heath and wellness, foster the development of grassroots hockey, and facilitate and encourage education in British Columbia. Thanks to the generosity of their fans, donors, players, employees, and sponsor partners, the CFKF has been able to grant to charities in British Columbia over the last 36 years.
The gifts from the CFKF benefit the BC's high performance program athletes to participate and to build more competitive basketball programs. CFK’s gift enables these athletes to receive top-level training and will help prepare them for post-secondary and national levels of competition.
Basketball BC believes sport empowers athletes and acknowledges that high-performance program fees and associated travel costs can be a barrier for some families. The CFKF’s gifts will support athletes from families facing financial barriers to help cover the cost of participation so they can experience the joy of basketball.
For more information for donations by cheque or marketable securities please email the Fund at bcasf@sportbc.com.
